Good morning,
Hoping someone may be able to look up William Darbyshire and family.
I have found the family at Berry-me-wick, Romiley in both the 1851 and 1861 Census and Bredbury in the 1871 Census but I do not have access to the 1841 Census of Cheshire.
The 1851 Census details are -
HO107/2154 f148 pg14-5 sch 49 Berry-me-wick Chadkirk Romiley.
William Darbyshire 46yrs, first mates hand, b. Ashton upon Mersey CHS
Sarah " 48 yrs, b. Derbyshire
George " son, 21 yrs, b. Heaton Norris Lancs
Ellen " dau, 18 yrs, b. Nemith CHS
William " son, 15 yrs, b. Romiley CHS
Thomas " son, 10 yrs, b. Masfel ? CHS
John " son, 6 yrs, b. Romiley CHS
Hannah " dau, 4 yrs, b. Romily CHS
I have the birth certificate of Thomas who was born 1 January 1841 at Marple, possibly Dooley Street.
Sarah's maiden was Consterdine and she married William at Manchester Cathedral, 31/8/1829. Sarah may have been born at Claun or Alsthorp in Derbyshire.

They are there in Dooley Lane Marple in 1841, all born in county, except Sarah.
Very difficult to read the occupation of William.
