Anyone researching MARSHALL or SHEWAN from Peterhead / Longside or ADIE from Crimond/Lonmay? I have loads of information to exchange.
-
I have Elizabeth Adie b.1846 d. Feb 21, 1915 daughter of Thomas Adie & Jane Mutch married to George Thomson b. May 10, 1848 d. March 11, 1915.
Is this part of your Adie Tree?

Hiya, I have a few Shewan's from Monymusk area - is that too far away from you?
-
Alex - Afraid I don't have your Elizabeth or her parents in my tree. I see the parents married in King Edward - I have not had any who have moved that far from the Lonmay and Old Deer areas. Sorry
-
Lindsay - I haven't had any Shewans from Monymusk - although one branch landed up in Keithall. But it is quite an unusual name - I would appreciate some details just in case it is one of my 'dead end' branches.

My GG grand father and mother was John Marshall (1843-1908) and Ann Bonner (1842-1910). I have traced back to Alexander Marshall and Margaret Shewan (John M 1808-1882 parents). Would certainly be interested in contacting you if you can still see this chat.
