Post by: lambkin on Sunday 29 January 06 23:09 GMT (UK)
One of my ancestors was a nail maker in the Winlaton area in 1851 aged 42 how can I find out more about the place he would have worked?

Hi Lambkin,
Use your search engine. Put in Winlaton and/or
Winlaton nails and you will get lots of sites dealing with Winlaton, the
area and the industries. Also experiment with variations.
