I will be enormously grateful if someone can answer a question for me!
I use the Ancestry.co.uk databases, but seem to have hit a missing page, and my luck being what it is, that's the page that the people I'm looking for would very possibly be on, if they're there.
Details:
1891 England Census > Cheshire > Barrow > District 11 > PAGE 11
The images at the Ancestry site go from p. 1 to p. 10, and from p. 12 to p. 35 (i.e. page numbers printed on the original pages). No page 11. I don't know whether it ever existed, or has survived. (Each page contains complete households, with no running on to the next page, so I can't tell whether one is actually missing or not.)
I would be extremely grateful even for confirmation that the page does not exist, it that were the case.
Thanks!

Hi
Having looked at the pages it seems that page 11 was never written up, each house has a schedule number in the left hand column, page 10 ends with schedule 60 and page 12 starts with schedule number 61, so it looks as if the transcriber flipped two pages at once.
There does not seem to any sign of them after 1881 apart from daughter Jessie being born 1882.

Duh, what an amateur I am. ;)
Household schedule numbers, that hadn't occurred to me. Flipped two pages, or messed one up, or something.
Thanks very much for pointing out the obvious to me!
