Title: Lodge Park Country Estate nr Sherborne

Does anyone have any information about the history of Lodge Park. Two branches of my family, the Morss' and the Simpsons worked on the estate in the 1800's. Any info no matter how trivial would be appreciated. I have contacted the National Trust, who now oversee the property, on several occasions but I have had no reply.

Have you tried  the Gloucestershire Archives (http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=1348)? They hold documents and papers
(including estate records) for  the Dutton Family ... Barons Sherborne.  (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/nra/searches/subjectView.asp?ID=F3809)
