Joseph and Harriett Husselbee had Thomas b 1857 and Joseph b 1855 in Tunstall and Thomas appears in the 1861 and 1871 census living in Chapel Street Wordsley. He is a bundler in the iron trade in 1871.
Not sure what a bundler does! ???
I cannot find them in the 1881 census and would like to know if they appear in the 1891 or 1901 census's. Could someone check these guys out for me please.
Regards

Good morning, Graham
The family (without Thomas) are on 1881 - can't understand why you can't find them
Type in Harriet Husselbee 1832 Kingswinfold and the family will be there
All the birth places are Kingswinfold on this census

Is the age for Joseph Husselbee correct? I can't see him with the family on the 1861 census. Did he died young?
From FreeBMD
Deaths Jun 1855
Husselbee Joseph Stourbridge 6c 104
On the 1861 census he is with the family age 10 but is this an error and this Joseph is in fact a second child with the same name born very recently -10 days instead of 10 years?
Births Jun 1861
HUSSELBEE Joseph Stourbridge 6c 218
On the 1871 census the Joseph with the family is still only aged 10. On the 1881 census he is still living with his parents, aged 19 a glassblower. 1891 census he is still at home with his parents Joseph and Harriet and still a glassblower. I can't see him on the 1901 census but then some men are missing because of the Boer War.

Good afternoon Tricia.
Yes you are right but I am looking for Joseph and Thomas. :)
As you say Thomas isn't there but neither is Joseph b 1855. I think Joseph must have died. There is a Joseph b 1862 living with them, I know and I have his record in the 1901 census.

I have the 1861 census but for some reason haven't noted Joseph's presence. Could send me details please. :-[
I have the 1901 census info on Joseph who is 39 and still living with Harriet but I do not have the 1891 census for Harriet and Joseph.

My opening statement is correct. I then inadvertantly left in the following sentence from a first draft.
Is the age for Joseph Husselbee correct? I can't see him with the family on the 1861 census. Did he died young?

Im trying tofind info about a thomas husselbee, who took part in the Zulu wars.
this would have been 1879, he was also in Egypt in 1882.
So does anybody know if this husselbee could have been the same one im looking for?
