Title: 1841 loddon Lookup Please
Post by: adijoy on Friday 20 January 06 20:59 GMT (UK)
Could some kind person have a look in the 1841 Norfolk Census in and around Loddon for Felgate & Folgate, I'm looking mainly for a James & Ann Folgate , but also interested in any others in that area.

I have a version of this Census but have to say it's very poor, and I am unable to read much of it.
For example in Loddon I could see a Phillise Folgate but cant read above or bellow this entry, really would like to know what it says.

Thank you in advance.

Adi

Thank you Kris
I have no idea about the other Folgate's with Phillis, as she is listed as single, where they brothers & sisters ? Time will tell.

I am surprised that there are not more Folgate & Felgate families in Loddon at this time.

I have no Fallgate's that I know of.

Thank you for your time Kris  :)

Hi just wanted to post something about Folgates and Falgates.  My g g grandfather was a William Folgate or Falgate or whatever the spelling and he lived in the Moulton St. Michael area near Forncett where there is a lot of Folgates.  I have been having a hard time finding out if he is the right one.  Does anyone know a William Folgate which lived in that area in 1841 that was a shoemaker?  There is 33 William Folgate Falgates etc living in the 1841 census.
Sincerely G Chapple
