Title: Windsor Launceston Look-up

     Hi,          I am wondering if anyone in Launceston Tasmania would have any information on John Windsor,born in Launceston around1812,he married a Annie Nolan (Nowlan ), about 1844,according to a marriage certificate for his daughter,Sarah Jane Windsor his occupation was a Publican,any update would be great.

On the AVRI there are deaths for 2 John Windsors in Tasmania
11 Aug 1891  Age 84  Year 1891  Ref 247

19 July 1892 Age 74  Year 1892 Ref 1347

An Ann Windsor died 16 Jun 1884 aged 58 year 1884 Ref 241

There are no parents given on the Tas records Index. I'm not sure whether or not they are given on the actual death records, which can be searched at the Tas archives.

I can't see anything online for Launceston Cemeteries - a small amount of information here

Both Ann and John were buried in the Cypress Street Cemetery in Launceston. Section C, plot 37 purchased by J. Edwards.

marriage 13.11.1844 at launceston Baptist church York st
He was 32 and she was 26.

Looks like he and a William Slater were done for house breaking at Warwick azzizes. They broke into Thomas Gibbs house a watch maker at Stratford upon Avon.
