Is there anyone who could help me.My 4 x great grandfather Archibald MENZIES married Isabella Brown/e 22/7/1803 Sth Leith There were two known sons James Menzies & Robert MENZIES my 3 x great GRAND FATHER
Robert MENZIES b 8/2/1809 married an Agnes BRUCE daughter of Agnes Bruce(Nee Henderson) 13/8/1838
Robert emmigrated to N.Z about 1838 not long after his marriage
Is there any one who has resouces to look up more on the family he left behind in Scotland
Would be most appreciated

I am trying to start some research on Robert Bruce who came to NZ approx 1838 as well. His parents were Agnes Henderson and James Bruce. Robert would be the sister of Agnes that you are mentioning. Have you had any luck finding out which ships came to NZ around 1838.
