Post by: Emcee on Thursday 12 January 06 19:57 GMT (UK)
Could someone with the 1841 census for Tynron please tell me the ages and birthplace of John and Flora Corrie and their 6 children at Kilmark or Kilnmark, Tynron.

Hi
I haven't looked up the census for you - try www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
for that.
The farm is now called Kilnmark, about 6 miles up the Shinnel glen from the hamlet of Tynron. the farm sits on the left hand side.
sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks for your reply.
My request was posted prior to the 1841 census being on-line  -  I now have the answer via scotlandspeople.
