Hi

My earliest known DAVIDSON ancestor was John DAVIDSON (5 x great-grandfather) born c1794 at Carham.  There were still some of this DAVIDSON family living in Wark in 1881. Grandson of this John, was another John (my 3 x great-grandfather) who emigrated to Australia with his family in the 1880s.

George NORRIS (my 4 x great-grandfather) was born in Bamburgh 9 Feb 1809. By 1881 he was living in North Sunderland.  His daughter Ellen NORRIS married the younger John DAVIDSON above.
