Any info on Beatson family from Abernethy who migrated to Lieth, Stirling, Glasgow,(my own immediate family remained in Abernethy).
Paricularly George br.1/11/1848 son of John Beatson and Margaret Anderson

Hello Kilsyth, Yes Janet Mitchell Beatson would be my 2nd cousin 2 times removed she originating from James Beatson and Isabella Philp whilst I come from his brother John married to Margaret Anderson who were my gr,gr,grand parents. Any more info welcome, as I don,t know a great deal about this side.

Janet Mitchell Beatson and Andrew R Guild are my grandparents, both now deceased and buried in Wellshill cemetery, Perth.  My grandmother and family moved fm Leith to Abernethy to be close to her own mother, Janet Bell Mitchell when my mother was about 8years.
