Post by: cavvy on Friday 06 January 06 03:33 GMT (UK)
Would anyone know if you can find information on passenger lists from Southern Ireland to England and Wales.

I have seen lots of sited for lists to the USA, but none for Britain.

Hi

I have no idea about passenger lists.

Hi cavvy and gjb,

Passenger lists between Great Britain and Ireland do not exist. The Act of Union 1801 meant that the two nations became the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland so the need for such lists did not arise. The Union ended with the formation of the Irish Free State.

Best Wishes,

Chris
