Please can some one look up the Norris Family on the 1851 Census

Mary Norris Born abt 1784 Head/wife

Alexander Norris Born abt 1828 Son

Michael Norris Born abt 1826 Son

All born in Oswaldtwistle

do not know what the husband name is or if there are any other children

Found them but the quality of the reproduction is very poor, tried 2 alternative providers but no difference.

Mary Norris; Head; Wid; [no occupation]; can't read where born
William do; son [ditto under wid]; 33; three words for occupation - no idea; Oswaldtwistle, Lancs
Alexander do; son; [ditto again]; 23; ditto for occupation; Oswaldtwistle
Michael do; son; 23; ditto for occupation; Oswaldtwistle
Alice ??; niece; 7; errand girl; Oswaldtwistle

Hope someone has a better copy than I can find for the details!

I had the same problem looked at 3 different ones but still cannot make out mary's birth place it did look like york but 1841 states all born in county so that can't be right  I did manage to get a readable image well just about readable...

Think that Mary's birthplace is more local than that - Gale / Gate Bank?

Tried googling - Foxhill Bank, Oswaldtwistle; Peel Bank ..

Can't win them all   :(

Hi all

Think Mary's birthplace is Yate Bank (as in Yate and Pickup Bank) just a couple of miles from Oswaldtwistle.
