Hi Kelly
1841 Census, Wetherby Skyrack, Lower division, Burley - no street name or house.
HO 107/1314/5 folio 26 pg 2
Joseph Driver; 50; corn miller; Yes [born in county]
Susan do; 44; No
William do; 15; cotton mill; Y
Richard do; 13; cotton mill; Y
John do; 6; Y
There is a Jane Driver aged 20 with a Mary Driver aged 70 in Bramhope, East Gate HO 107/1314/4 folio 6 pg 4.
Mary is Ind means & born in county, living with two other independent ladies. Jane is FS & also born in county. Are they part of the plan?

Hi Sandra,
Jane and Mary could quite possibly be part of the plan. Joseph and Susanna had a daughter who would be just before her 20th birthday in the 1841 census.
Is any occupation etc given for Jane. I am not sure what FS is.
Best Regards

Sandra,
Thanks again for this information. As I said, I am stuck as to who his parents are - maybe Mary is his mother and will go down that track for awhile. Their other son James would probably be off working somewhere else.
Best Regards

Hi Kelly,
I have a Peter Driver from Yorkshire in my family tree. His parents are Joseph and Susanna Driver. He was a convict and sent to VDL.
Is this your relation?
