Thanks, Tippin

Lucy (above) was daughter of Isaac Wagstaff & Hannah Hames who married in Widmerpool in 1830.
She married James Thornton 08 Jul 1867 at Nottingham as Lucy Wagstaff.
Where do you have William Whitehead connected to her :-\
-
On ancestry :-\ but I have also found family trees and records with Lucy wagstaff being connected to another surname and Lucy wagstaff with a different dob and who died young that I was presuming must have been another daughter of Issac and Hannah who died i think someone must have researched wrong and everyone has just copied their tree. I'm so confused and now even more far away from getting further on in my tree grrrrr :'(
-
I always take information from online trees with a very large pinch of salt as like you mention they are often just copied over without verifying the information.
-
Yeah definitely I was very lucky with one side and I do go through every name to try to get it verified but I've just started out so am learning. Thank you for your help will keep searching :)
