Searching for any one with links to the surname Colbert in or around the Waterford area. I know that the surname was prominent in this area of Ireland.

There were several Colbert families in Waterford at the time of the Griffith's Valuation (http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php) in the county in 1848-51.

From Ballygunner Graveyard Waterford City. Erected by Ellen Colbert alias Diggins of Waterford City, in memory of her husband Patrick who died April 16th 1859 aged 45 years. From Faithlegg Graveyard County Waterford. Erected by Margaret Ryan in memory of her daughter Mary Colbert died Dec. 1918 aged 34. Also her--------- Colbert died Dec. 13th 1910 (?) died in Egypt, aged 56 (or 36) years. Also Johanna Hanlon aged 61(?) years and her husband Ned.

There's a Timothy Marks who married a Brigid Colbert and they were having children in Dungarvan in the 1820's. If you are connected to them I'd be most interested as I have a feeling I may be related.
