Does anyone have anything on anyone with the surname of Shoesmith/Shoosmith from Deal.  Particularly looking for information on Shoesmiths from around 1800 (Robert Shoesmith, born c1822 in Deal).

Try the Guild of One Name Studies. There is a very competent one name study on the surname Shoosmith/Shoesmith.
