I am trying to find the marriage partner of Alan William Moll. On my Grandma's death certificate he is named as the Informant, qualification - Brother-in-Law. My Grandma's family settled back in Hindon in the late 1920s (I think) so I am presuming (hoping!) that that is where one of her sisters married Alan Moll. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi
In view of the years involved, you would need to look for a marriage on the GRO register
If you live in the UK, you can search the full GRO indexes for free at your local main reference library. A copy of the GRO index is also available at each LDS family history centre within the UK and all other countries.
The full GRO index is also online and can be searched for a small fee at www.1837online.com

Hello Carole
Many thanks for your reply. It was a long shot that someone may have had access to marriage records in Hindon (I presumed Hindon was a little village so not many records). I will just have to keep on scrolling through the GRO marriage records.
Thanks for your interest.

Hello Robert
I think we have been in touch through Genes Reunited. I spent hours scrolling through the marriage index and eventually found Alan William Moll (born 1895) and his marriage to Ivy Ella Gales in York in 1921. At present I am trying to trace their movements from York to Hindon and where they went after that. As soon as I have any success will let you know.
