Hello
I have found a new relative on 1901 and 1881 census and would be really grateful of someone could break off from Xmas preparations to check him on any other censuses.
He is William Paxton.
In 1881 he is at Gateshead aged 54 born Alnwick a master hatter, by 1901 he is aged 77 and is living in St Andrew's area of Newcastle. His wife is Mary also born Alnwick.
Many many thanks
F :)

the address for the 1861 was Westgate
Windhaugh (I think) Street, Westgate, Newcastle on tyne, Northumberland.
I have a sneaking suspicion that both William and Mary had been married before young Thomas and Ann... cannot prove it but would be interesting to find out...
have not been able to find a marriage of William and Mary... but looking ;)
best wishes
