The IGI at www.familysearch.org has

also at Aubourn
Thomas 30 Dec 1821
Sarah 13 Nov 1825
Elizabeth 16 April 1824
Jane 19 May 1816
Tilson 30 April 1820

Possibly ... at Coleby
Letitia and John 22 March 1812
James 5 August 1810
Ann 3 October 1813

Benjamin GROSSE married Jane PECK at Coleby 19 Dec 1809

It's only about 4 miles from Coleby to Aubourn.

At Boultham (about 4 miles from Aubourn) 1841
James GROSS 30 AgLab
Ann 25
Ann 6m

Tilson GROSSE was female, as she married William BROWN at Aubourn 17 Sep 1839 (his father was also William).

A Jane GROSSE married Samuel SPEED at North Hyckham (Hykeham) 31 March 1840 (fathers' names not given).

There were people called GROSS living not far away at Waddington in 1841 - possibly Benjamin's origins?

Benjamin (son of Benjamin) GROVES married Mary (dau of William) CHAPMAN 7 June 1847 Waddington.

Some burials at Aubourn (from NBI2)
23 April 1841 Jane (53) - this was before the census
1 Jan 1833 John (21)
23 Sep 1826 Sarah (inf)

hi thanx for the reply.
It looks like the ones i want. it gets confusing with the different name spellings, one census will have one and another the other one.
I'll check with my info
