Title: Strachans of Gamrie - Cloinart

My Strachan family originates in Gamrie parish Banffshire. The earliest references are around the late 1700's afterwhich the family moved to Peathill Pitsigo parish.
I have a mention of a village / farm / district called Cloinart.

I have a Bathia Strachan who married George Smith - They had a son George 14 May 1758 at Pitgair Gamrie Banff and then Isobel, Ann, Alexander, James, George, Margaret, Bathia. I think Bathia's father was Alexander.
