Title: Ferndale Burials [1900-1950]
Post by: kenelms on Friday 02 December 05 14:32 GMT (UK)
I am tracing family members who I think could have been buried at Ferndale. That said,I know a lot of both my mother and fathers side were buried at Penrhys and I have that information. But,I am trying to find if my great grandfather George Elms b 1845-d 1907 was buried at Ferndale. He lived at Hendrefadog St in Tylorstown where the rest of the family resided. His first wife Virtue Elms was buried at LLanwano I believe.

I am also trying to find William J Thomas B 1869- D1931 but he lived in Margaret St in Pontygwaith and his wife Mary Thomas B 1869-D1921.

Another great  grandfather was Charles Pitman B1829-D1902] who lived in East Road,Tylorstown.

The other unknown factor is cremation which was coming into fashion plus LLanwano and Trealaw may have been possible.  So any information welcomed. Thankyou.
