Hi folks
Trying to find Irish ancestors with little to go on.
John Crowley born Ireland c1816 and his wife Jane Crowley (formerly Seymour) also born Ireland c1811. They moved to England and were listed on the 1851 census living in Bradford with sons Jule, Timothy,John, Patrick, Edward and George. Any help appreciated.

Hi there,
I have tried finding your family without success.
There are plent of Crowley's born in Ireland around the same time as John and Jane and living in Bradford who are possible connections, but I cannot see any one of the people you name.
Sorry, Colin

Did he have any siblings that you know of in England, if so check their census records as one of them may have refind their place of birth.
There also seem to be a few John Crowley on the IGI for around your date for the Cork and Kerry areas so it is more likely that he came from the south west.
Were the children born in Ireland or England?

Hi Sharon
All the children I've found were born in Bradford. How do I find John on the "IGI"?

Heres the link to the IGI, the Extracted records come straight from the parish records so are pretty accurate with there information. The Submitted records are not as reliable though.
