Thanks a lot.
That could very well be him, they don't always put their middle names.
Is there a 1841 census for the area. As I would like to know who his parents were. I have my hunches, but you must be sure.
Thanks

Hi again
I now see where the Claridge name comes from as Charlotte's sister seems to be with her in the 1841 census and as it was only one night of the year it is not suprising. ;D
I have re-checked the 1841 and it does say Charlotte.
Cheers Sandy

Thanks for that information.
Do you think this could be another wife and he married two sister?
Or was she called Elizabeth Charlotte Claridge?
Take Care

Hi Clare
I do not know. Sometimes the wife changes her known name.
The original marriage certificate needs confirming although I am sure the details are correct.
On the 1851 she is named as Charlotte and on the 1861 (Joseph has died between 1851-61) she is still Charlotte a widow. Sorry :(

I am also trying to research Thomas Claridge Mann and his family. I have quite a bit of info regarding his family at Cogenhoe and a bit re. Nether Heyford. I think I know how the Caridge connection was made, but would like any help. Pat
