My G-G-G-G-G-grandfather Joseph Frith married Elizabeth Atkin on either 26 November 1720 in Sheffield or 26 November 1722 in Dronfield.
Is anyone related through any of their children:
- John b.1723
- Ann b.1725
- Joseph b.1727 (my G-G-G-G-grandfather)
- Thomas b.1730
- Francis b.1735

I have a George Frith in the same sort of time and place I estimate that he was born about 1730 but have no other details. He had a Son George in Red Hill, Wales, Yorkshire in 1760.

Thomas Frith b.17 Apr 1808, c.22 May 1808 at Howard Street Independent, Sheffield, d.5 Apr 1850 - organist at St Philips between 1840-1843 (his wife was Elizabeth Frith?). Thomas's dad was Thomas Frith and his mum was Rebecca Roberts. They got married on 3 Nov 1806 in Wentworth, Yorks. This Thomas's dad was probably Thomas Frith c.3 Nov 1748 in Wales, Yorks and his dad was George Frith.

I found the following Frith christenings in the IGI in Wales, Yorkshire. All have the father listed as George Frith
ALICE FRITH - c 25 OCT 1742
WILLIAM FRITH - c 06 APR 1766
THOMAS FRITH - c 03 NOV 1748
MARY FRITH - c 11 MAR 1743
ELIZABETH FRITH - c 14 SEP 1746
'My' George (b 2 Oct 1760, Wales, Yorkshire) isn't listed here, but the data on George came from a family member who has researched this fairly deeply. So, it would appear thay my George and your Thomas are probably brothers.
Hi Cousin :)

No that wasn't my family - I found those details and recorded them whilst looking into my Frith family in and around Sheffield.
Anyway, merry Xmas to you too,
Simon
