Title: St Margaret of Antoch, Toppesfield- William Elsdon

Please can I request a look up for William Elsdon who was christened on the 15 Nov 1807 in Toppesfield I require as much detail as possible. William died on 5 Dec 1880 in Toppesfield.

I am trying to research his parents details, all I have is his mother was Susannah Elsdon

Hi,

This is probably him in the 1851 census. The years are slightly out and there's no daughter names after his mother...

You say there are no daughter names after his mother, do you have any details of his mother (only if you have time)

I have all the children apart from John.

I looked for Susannah in the census but she wasn't there in 1851 or anywhere in the Halstead district,

long time out of touch I have been informed that William Elsdon c1811 Toppesfield parents may be John Elsden c1775 Essex and Susan Baldry b 1777 in Bressingham Norfolk but i can not find how the link was made.
Do the names mean anything to you?
