Charles Williamson was born about 1827 in Whitwick. He married and moved to Staffordshire sometime before 1857 when a child was born in Darlaston.
I would be very grateful if someone could trace him on 1841 or perhaps 1851 census and even find names of parents. I cannot at the moment trace marriage.

Hello Mike,

Its interesting that FreeBMD has a Death in 1857 Walsall of a Witrance COPE. Also a Marriage page for 1847 Dudley which includes Charles WILLIAMSON and Maria COPE.
I'm afraid I don't have access to the 1841 census at present.
Regards,
John

I am researching my grandfather's WILLIAMSON family in Whitwick. He was William Williamson b 1896. His parents were Jonathan Williamson & Mary Moore. Jonathan's parents were John Williamson & Hannah Foster. I cannot find their marriage anywhere.
John's parents were the John & Catherine, mentioned by Mike.
Catherine Walker was married to John Williamson in Whitwick in 1818. The 1851 census reveals she was born in Sibson. The IGI record has the baptism, but no parents names.
I haven't got John's parents either, there are SO Many Williamsons in Whitwick & they all used the same set of christian names (as seemed to be the norm in the 18th & 19th centuries.)
Hope this rings some bells !
