Hi,
I'm trying to find info on my grandfather John McDonald born 1909.he might have come from New Ross or Courtown.i have no idea about his parents at all,
where do i start,

Caroline There were McDonalds in the Shannon area of Enniscorthy co. Wexford. Try www.A2A go to global sarch. Type in McDonald Wexford or Enniscorthy or any pther place in Co Wexford and if Mcdonalds were in the British army ( going back to the early 1800s it will give you aclue which areas of co Wexford they lied in Regards Peter

Yes, my EDMONDS Ancestors did come from Wexford.
I would like to find out more information.

George Gilbert EDMONDS
b1825-1833 Wexford
George Gilbert EDMONDS was my GGrandfather and died 100 years' ago December 2006. He is buried just 15km from where I live in Brisbane.
But, where were his roots?
Any snippet of information will assist and will be greatly appreciated.
