Hello Everyone
I am trying to do my family tree, and finding it very interesting.
Has anyone got any photos of The Bunch Of Grapes, pub which was at the entrance to the market, also The Ex Serviceman's Club, they were ran by my relatives Des and Maggie Evans nee Davies.
Also any school photos taken from 1957-1965 at St Mary's RC School Union Street Carmarthen.
If anyone has any stories that they would be happy to share with me please contact me.
Heres waiting

Hello SP :)
Have you thought of writing to the Carmarthen Journal to ask them to publish a request for information and photographs? As Rootschat is meant for finding ancestors, rather than living relatives, personal details of any people known or thought to be living will be removed. People who attended St Mary's RC School 1957-65 will fall into that category.
Sometimes social networking sites have school groups and photos so it is worth checking; if there isn't a group you could start one!
Don't think there is a pub "the Bunch of Grapes" in Carmarthen now but it was a very old pub. Apparently the first freemason's lodge started to meet there in 1724!

Thank you for that, and my apologies, silly me.
Maybe some one will delete this post

No need to apologise and Rootschat don't delete posts :) I will move this to completed posts and perhaps someone will contact you via PM (Personal Message) at some stage in the future!
Best wishes
