My family has a Mary Hedley b abt 1770 Lanton Northumberland.

Hi,
You'd possibly find more contacts if you put these surnames into the Surname Interest Table - see blue link at bottom of page.
There you can also indicate which area of country in particular your surname comes from and dates.
For example I have a Lee - but if your Lee is not in Chardstock Dorset c.1750 there would be no possibility of connection?
There are several help topics for the SIT table, if you are unsure how to proceed.
You could also enter them in your profile, as I have done. Then they appear on every one of your postings, and one day someone says "Oh I see you have 'Broadbent, Kent' in your surnames" and another contact is the result.

My name is Corinne, and it's me who has Connection's to the Martindale's, It's not for sure yet, but somewhere in my family tree i also have Butterworth's.

:)I don't have Martindale in my family line ,not that I'm aware of yet anyway as I'm a learner driver so to speak. .The Hedley name arises in my tree with the marriage of Mary Hedley to Robert Nichol in 1786 in Falstone parish Northumberland.

The only Butterworth, that i have been told about went by the name of Esther, I will Find out where she fit's into my family tree.

The Butterworths I have are Walter m Alice Mary Gibbons in 1910.
Their children: Alice H (Hetty) and Joseph A.
I have no otehr info on them
