Hi,
do you know where he was born? was that also Coventry?
the only birth i can find so far is in Dec 1/4 of 1882 in Peterbro (3b 241)
and the only marriage is in Dec 1/4 of 1909 in Wisbech (3b 1399) to either Norah Langford or yet to be named :-\
am struggling with census' at the minute until i'm sure of the birthplace.
have also tried the 3 versions of spelling Reed too............

Many thanks for searching, all i know is that the son Walter James was born in june 1911 maybe in Oackham. no idea about the other sons ,Hugo and Sydney, or who the mother was.
-
mmm.
only came up with this one for you,
READ Sydney William Leicester 7a 268, 12.1904
Think Walter James' birth is a bit too late for FreeBMD at the minute, but might be worth searching on 1837.com as you know the exact year and month, won't be too expensive that way.
don't think we're going to get round this one without the help of some certificates i'm afraid.
sorry i can't be any more help to you,
good luck
Jane
