Title: Finding living descendants in Ireland
Post by: rodelremsi on Sunday 30 October 05 18:05 GMT (UK)
I have been working my way though the records to find the descendants of my uncle who moved to Ireland at the beginning of the last century.  I am now in the position where I have names of people who should be alive; I think most of them are still in the Dublin area.  Are there any records available in the UK which would help me find them.  I am aware of on-line telephone directories but is the register of electors (for example) available here?  Any other suggestions welcome.

Hi,

The electoral role is available here in Ireland inthe local libraries but I would hope that it is not available online because of the sensitive information within.
