Title: William McEwan look up Edinburgh 1891

Looking for WILLIAM McEWAN aged 20 in 1891, his father, also WILLIAM McEWAN would have been in his mid-40s. Mother Elizabeth may or may not still be alive. William senior was a mason. The family were possibly living in the Edinburgh area at this time. Any help appreciated. Jim

Hya Jim, you will most likely find William McEwan on the 1891 census on Scotland's People. I don't know if you are familiar with this site or not. It's a pay per view and is the government official site for genealogy.

i know that there is still a WILLIAM MCEWAN'S ALEHOUSE in edinburgh he was a famous brewer in the city mabye your related?
