Title: 1851 Census Richmond Please

I wonder if anyone could be so kind as to see if there's any info on a Richard Wilson born about 1830 in Richmond Surrey.

Trouble is I don't have any definate record of where he was in 1851. He appeared in Liverpool in 1859 married to Jane and had a daughter called Mary that year.

Any help or info from any drection would be great.

Hey Groucho

Best I could find is a Henry Wilson b 1831 Richmond who is a servant at a house in Petersham - there are a few other Wilsons born after that date in Richmond, but none older than Henry, and that is based on a search 10 years either side of 1830.

Is Henry related?

I'm coming to a cul-de-sac on this one I think. He seems to be a bit of a wanderer.

He's listed in 1861 as being 31 born in Surrey, Richmond. He was in Liverpool but seven months earlier had a daughter born in Ireland, seventeen months after his previous daughter had been in Liverpool.

You never know though, something may show up.

As for the other Wilson, I couldn't say as I've not much on him as yet.
