I'm seeking help about the gall family in the lifeboat service in Broughty Ferry between 1920 and early 1950.
I found out about this on a visit to broughty Ferry three years ago but was unable to pin down any actual connection to my family other than a close resemblance of my Father to all the Gall's pictured in the book "Standing into Danger" by Andrew Jeffrey.

Hi Chunkie,
I'm looking for Galls from Broughty Ferry as well. Can you give a first name?
Thanks

the original post was posted some time ago but in light of the fast approaching
anniversary of the "Mona" disaster you might find this site of some interest
there are a few mentions of Galls in the history section
